How We Award Game Credit

Game credits can be won for Single competition players only. Credits must be used in the next competition, they cannot be accumulated weekly or exchanged for cash.

NOTE: Bulk players will save far more with cheaper Bulk tickets. Bulk players also qualify for the prize uplift in checkout automatically with no extra charge.

BIG Tip: Don’t lose your credits. Play Now or, better still, go for a bulk ticket (your credits will be deducted from your Bulk Ticket price) especially while player numbers are still lower than they will be later. So your chances of winning are maximised right now. You are competiting against other X positions to be the closest only. The fewer X’s played, the less competition for you! 😉

Winning Runners-Up and First 10 Closest Runners-Up

Winning Runners-Up and First 10 Closest Runners-Up

These players are our Winning Runners Up who tied for First Place but lost in the Knock-Out Stages or in the Play-Off, both of which are highly unlikely to occur.

Winning Runners Up – Awarded £30 of Game credit

Winning Runners Up – Awarded £30 of Game credit

In Competition No. 1 we had 2 Winning runners up.

1 Peter Macleay from Alness
2 Sarah Al-Shamma from Glasgow

Ties for first place are highly unlikely. However, if it does happen the judging software automatically looks at the tied players next closest ‘X’ entry and then the next, if necessary, to find the eventual winner. In the hugely unlikely event that they are still tied after 3 X’s we will be in touch to arrange a play-off.

About the Judging Process

We use the real ball position to judge all of our competitions simply because that’s exactly what we are asking you to do – Fix-the-Ball! We use four different cursors and place the Centre of these as close to the Centre of the actual ball position on the original photo as we can visually. The software then works out the average position from the four and that coordinate is deemed the Centre of the ball coordinates. The winner is then automatically found from the database of players entries as the player who has an X closest to the center of ball coordinates. Runners up and credits won for being close are also calculated and shown to all who played and have logged in on this results page.
